Product Description
Propranolol tablets have many uses, including relief of the symptoms and effects of social & situational anxiety. These include sweating, trembling and a quick heartbeat. The tablets usually take around 20 – 30 minutes to take effect and will last for up to four hours. Propranolol is not known to be addictive and doesn’t usually cause significant side effects when taking a 10mg – 40mg dose for situational anxiety. It should only be taken as needed, such as before a speech or presentation.
The correct Propranolol dosage for situational or performance anxiety is one to four tablets at the onset of anxiety (or before an event), up to three times daily. The Independent Pharmacy sells Propranolol tablets to help reduce the physical symptoms of short-term situational anxiety. Higher doses of propranolol are available to reduce the frequency of regular migraines.
Propranolol directions
If using Propranolol to combat performance anxiety, take 10-40mg, 20-30 minutes ahead of time.
If using Propranolol routinely to combat situational anxiety, start by taking one 10mg tablet three times per day. If necessary, you may increase the dose to four tablets.
Propranolol can be taken either with or without food.
If you do miss a dose, take the tablet as soon as possible, unless it is nearly time for the following dose. If this is the case, skip the first dose and resume your regular routine. Never double your dose to compensate for a skipped tablet.
